How do I know what information is reliable?

No question about it, when you are an expectant or new parent, everybody has an opinion, a book, a website that they want to share with you! How do you decide what to believe and which information will work for you?

You can ask yourself:

  • What is the source of this information? Is it reliable?
  • Is it evidence-based?
  • Is it biased? (does it promote only one viewpoint or product?)
  • Is it current?
  • How will I feel if I follow this advice? Will it work for me and my family?

Check out these websites for more tips on evaluating health information on the internet.
